For people who want to lose fat rapidly, there obviously has to be a massive calorie deficit.
For those who don't know, that basically means to EAT LESS.

Let's say that you do modify your diet to ensure that you'll lose fat fast. That means that you're going to cut out processed food, junk food, and fried food. Those 3 genres of food were the main staple of your diet before you got on the path to a lean and trim body. As a matter of fact, you've grown to fall in love with that kind of food. Does that mean that you can never, ever have any of these things again?? Absolutely not.
In every nutrition programs there should have a CHEAT day worked into it.

A cheat day is basically a day in which you pick to have a caloric spike by indulging in some of your favorite foods. Cheat day isn't really anything new. The majority of people know about it, but I've come to realize that many don't know how to go about it and how to use it to optimize their results.

Did you know that your body produces a fat burning hormone everyday? Maybe not because you've never enjoyed the effects of it, but this fat burning hormone is called leptin. One thing that leptin levels are determined by is your calorie intake. When you decrease your amount of calories, your leptin levels drop. The more calories you take in, your leptin levels are boosted.

Just like with your workouts, when you strategically fluctuate your leptin levels, your body then says it’s ok to give up its stored bodyfat. 

Dieting can mess up your metabolism by screwing with your hormone leptin. The only way to combat that is to have a periodic spike in your calorie intake. And in my next post, I'll explain how exactly you should go about tricking your body to burn fat with cheat days.
